And Now It's TMZ's Turn.......

In case you're not familiar with TMZ it is a show that comes on the Fox Station and is about celebrities. The "TMZ" is supposed to stand for "Three Mile Zone" which I'm guessing has to do with the area around Hollywood.

The show includes things like celebrity gossip, celebrity photos and celebrity headlines.

How it seems to operate is that the celebrity gossip stories with the most interest are the ones that are mentioned on the show. What seems to get a lot of interest are the celebrities who are trying to avoid the photographers and papparazi and those celebrities that say something wrong or stupid in front of the cameras.

So it came as quite a shock to me that this show would mention a little gem of a secret that has to do with the papparazi itself. Since there are a lot of those who are considered "papparazi" make their money by getting celebrity photographs any potential "secret" that could get in the way of them getting their celebrity or "money-making" shot could be very damaging to them professionally as well as financially.

This episode aired a few days ago and I am surprised that nobody has caught on to it. It is a potentially valuable piece of information that celebrities can use to help avoid getting photographed by the papparazi. It may not stop the papparazi completely but it will give them "pause" for thought! If they can't get that "shot" then they can't get paid!

Just think about how much fun the celebrities would have if they knew this bit of information. I thought maybe that some eagle-eyed assistant might have caught it but so far I haven't seen any evidence of it.

Someone like Britney Spears would probably love to have this kind of information judging by the number of times I have seen her being surrounded by the papparazi.

I'm wondering if any of TMZ's competition knows about this little secret that TMZ has let loose?

When this information comes out it will cause quite a stir in the celebrity and papparazi worlds!

It will even give the celebrites a chance to fight back or get their revenge from the papparazi........

And who do we have to thank for this?

January 2009 Update!

It's just amazing what kind of information that one can find online! I have already mentioned about one way that the celebrities could possibly decrease the ability of the paps and here I find yet another way to help "discourage" such a camera frenzy! This would be a GREAT way for the celebrities to make the photogs mad! It is a great idea!

I have been ready online about allegations that TMZ is getting people to use video cameras to provoke celebrities plus there are rumors of current investigations pending.

2/20/08 - Update: One the average - TMZ gets around 631,530 hits per day! and still nobody has mentioned the "mistake" that they broadcasted. Could it be that I was the only one that saw it?

Michael Jackson Has Passed Away At The Age Of 50!

I can't believe that Michael Jackson has died! I remember just what I was doing at the time that this was announced! I was in the kitchen washing dishes while listening to the news and that is when I heard it! "Michael Jackson has died!"

I repeat - it is a shock! Apparently he died of cardiac arrest but the true story of how he died won't be known until an autopsy has been completed. As far as I know I really don't remember hearing about Michael Jackson having any health issues except for the skin disease that he had.

I do know that he was in rehearsals for doing a concert tour!

Just heard on the news today that Susan Boyle from "Britain's Got Talent" was rushed to the hospital for exhaustion!

She gained popularity by becoming the "darling" of British media when she appeared on the show "Britain's Got Talent" and wowed both the audience and the judges with her beautiful singing voice!

After that show aired she was always in the media but seemed to have taken it all well at the beginning.

Actress and Activist Mia Farrow is currently in the middle of a hunger strike! Just like fellow actress and activist, Angeline Jolie, Mia Farrow is trying to raise public awareness. In Ms. Farrow's case she has committed to a three-week hunger strike, during which she will consume only water, in order to raise the public's awareness of the estimated 2.7 million refugees in Darfur. It seems as though Prince Harry has put his foot in his mouth when he made a racial comment by calling one of his fellow cadets "our little Paki friend". The remark was recorded on a video back in 2006.

Eartha Kitt, famous singer and actress has died at the age of 81. She had lost her battle with colon cancer.

Probably best known as playing Catwoman on Batman, Eartha Kitt had a very famous career before appearing in the Batman series. But it was her role as Catwoman that propelled her career to greater heights!

The most recent controversial thing that he has do so far was perhaps the worst unfounded rumor of all. He said that Michigan State backup quarterback Kirk Cousins was involved in a fight between football and hockey players that will result in charges being filed in the coming days (the fight happened in October). The comedian suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs, but had said the condition went into remission in 2005. He recently was hospitalized and treated for pneumonia, which his publicist said was not related to the disease.

More and more people are starting to complain about how TMZ is invading the privacy of celebrities.

Of course that hasn't meant that they have stopped doing it though and apparently the show has been so popular that a "spin-off" show is being created.

They recently showed an unflattering picture of Jennifer Love Hewitt's backside. This caused a small "uproar". Judging by the comments that have appeared there are more people who have blasted TMZ for showing the photo than who have not. JLH has said herself that she feels sorry for those women who already have a poor body image of themselves. The unflattering picture that was taken just makes things worse. It's MC Hammer's own blog! You remember MC Hammer don't you? If the term "too legit to quit" doesn't ring a bell then here is some more info about him.

According to his own blog, MC Hammer got started around 1986. He had a quick rise to fame but then he had a quick fall as well! He bought a multi-million dollar mansion, had a huge staff that also cost him a lot of money and his records were starting to fall in sales. He had to give up the mansion and his "star" fell.

But from reading his blog he has been making a comeback. There are lots of photos and videos on this blog. He does a lot of blogging from his sidekick and the man doesn't look like he is living too shabbily now.

He does go on tirades about the media and reporters and the music industry - which is the same industry that he is trying to get back into.
